This is a four seat, high wing trainer with plenty of room and power.

PIPER CHEROKEE  $83.00 PER HOUR

This is a four seat, low wing aircraft. It has a 160 Horsepower engine and is one of the easiest aircraft to fly. It has proven to be one of the most reliable and sought after aircraft in the aviation world.

DIAMOND KATANA  $82.00 PER HOUR

This aircraft was built in 1998.  It is a two seat, low wing aircraft which has GPS. This aircraft is on the cutting edge of flight training for tomorrow's pilots.

Aircraft Rental Policies

Aircraft may be rented at Freedom Air to qualified pilots only after a thorough checkout with one of Freedom Air's flight staff. Besides meeting FAA currency under the FAR's, rental pilots will be required to stay current with Freedom Air by flying within the preceding 90 days with a Freedom aircraft. Instrument rated pilots who want to fly in actual IMC must make an annual Recurrency Checkride with a Freedom Air CFII in an IFR airplane.

Minimum Usage Hours

j Freedom Air customers must guarantee a minimum number of usage hours for "Day-Long"

           rental.*  Daily usage requirements for "Day Long" rentals are:

    j 3 Hours per day

    j If a pilot flies less than the required minimum, he/she will be billed for the minimum

                required hour

    j Rental pilots are responsible for paying all tie-down, overnight, landing, and engine

                pre-heating fees at airports other than Orange County.

(*Day-Long rental means 3 or more blocks of flight time)

Rental Pilot Insurance

j Freedom Air's aircraft insurance policy extends to cover the personal liability of our students

and renters as follows:

     j Limit $100,000 combined single-limit bodily injury and property damages liability

                    including passenger legal liability

     j Pilots are encouraged to provide themselves additional protection by purchasing higher

                    limits through an aviation insurance company such as AOPA. A student or rental pilot is

                    responsible for any loss or damage due to pilot's negligence.
